Our Pastoral Staff

To connect with any of our staff please email Office@EdgewoodROC.org

  • Pastor Doug LangfordLead Pastor

Pastor Doug was raised in Illinois and Connecticut, in a home that really didn’t believe in God. In spite of that, he came to know Christ personally at the age of 17. That moment was the beginning of an entirely new direction for his life. Doug attended Greenville College for 2 years and then finished school at Gordon College in Massachusetts. He sensed God’s call to preaching and pastoral work while at Greenville. After college, he attended Asbury Theological Seminary, where he met his wife Sharon who was attending Asbury College across the street. They have 2 great children, Nicole and Dylan, and have been pastoring in the Free Methodist Church since 1990. They made Rochester their home in 2011.

  • Pastor Daria Roesch - Associate Pastor

After 15 years as our Children's Ministries Director, Pastor Daria transitioned to Care and Communication Pastor, and is now Associate Pastor.  She oversees hospital and homebound visitation to members of our church family, provides guidance for communication at Edgewood, oversees our Family Ministries and our Next Steps Ministry to visitors. She and her husband Matt began attending Edgewood in 1994. They have three wonderful adult daughters. Daria received her Masters in Theological Studies from Northeastern Seminary and was ordained an elder in the FMC in July, 2015. She is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry degree.

  • Pastor Louis Colon - 8:30 am Traditional Service Pastor

Pastor Louis leads the 8:00 am service at Edgewood and is also serving in pastoral care. He has been attending and serving Edgewood for more than 10 years. He has a Masters in Theological Arts from Northeastern Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Preaching from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School. Louis is also an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived most of his childhood and youth in Puerto Rico, where he also earned a B.A. in English and a Masters in Education. Louis has been married to Laura since 1975 and is the father of four (3 boys and a girl) and happy grandfather to 10 grandchildren. When not serving at Edgewood, he is in Puerto Rico teaching and preaching, or teaching courses at Roberts Wesleyan College and/or Northeastern Seminary. If you ask Louis 3 words that define him, his answer is: "Pray, Learn and Love."

  • Pastor Tom Kilburn - Building Manager & Associate Pastor

Pastor Tom is the second of 6 boys who began life in Buffalo, NY and then moved to Western PA.  He received a scholarship to Temple University to play football and graduated with a degree in Education and Urban Recreation. He had a life-changing experience with Jesus just before he married his wife, Cherie.  He graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary, served at 8 churches, and has been in Rochester for many years and at Edgewood since 2008.
