2020 Vision - Edgewood Relocation
2020 Vision is our first "Compassion First" stewardship campaign to raise funds for the purchase and renovation of the former Southeast YMCA building in order to advance the cause of Christ.
It has been the goal of Edgewood to relocate for around 20 years and WE DID IT. We are now located in Pittsford at 111 East Jefferson Rd. Even though we have moved in, we still have ongoing renovations and never ending projects.
Entrance
This view is the lobby looking into the entrance of the worship hall & teen area. We cut a hole in the wall to create another entrance. We also Reopened two closed off doors to help our entrance feel open and help ease traffic in and out of the worship center.
Other Entrance rennovations were re-doing all the entrance flooring, adding in lighting, and adding a kids wing with secure entrances/exits.
Our Goal
Our biggest goal when moving to our new building is to reach more people. Not to grow in popularity, but to help MORE people connect with Christ and start their journey with him. This new location is better for us, with more parking, and allows us to keep our Children's Ministries in a secure wing.
Kitchen
This is our new kitchen, which was previously the women's locker room. We ripped out all the lockers, tore down walls, added a wall and a door, put in the flooring and ceiling, added appliances and more.
This room is used for Higher Grounds, events/catering, and more.
Teen Room
At last! The pool has been filled in! This area initially will be used as teen space once the renovations are complete.
